Oh Paris!

So my BFF just arrived in Paris and sent me a few snaps she took. I'm a little jelly. Okay, okay I'm super jelly. But can you blame me?

The Eiffel Tower...Yup I think it's safe to say magical is the best way to describe it.

I told her to eat some REAL french macarons for me and she sends me this! All from a cute little street market. I die.

Aaaand a Parisian sunset. I'm in love.

The Scoop

Ello mates! Here's what this busy little bee has been up to during some down time:

• Currently Reading: Where'd You Go Bernadette by Maria Semple. It's safe to say I hopped on the bandwagon and so far I'm lovin' it! It's a funny little story that takes place in Seattle (and I absolutely love Seattle) but I digress, this book is a sweet little summer read. I'm giving it two thumbs up.

• Currently Loving: The desk supplies section in Anthropologie! I have found everything from pom pom push pins to grasshopper shaped staplers and endless amounts of adorable notepads and stationary. My dorm room will be chock full of anything and everything Anthro. Hashtag goals. :D

• Listening To: Lots and lots of Bon Iver and Ed Sheeran. I blame the rain for putting me in a mellow music and PJs all day kind of mood, which is really relaxing by the way so this gal can't complain! I think the rain is so soothing and it gives me a reason to wear my new Hunter rain boots. Hooray!

• Feeling: anxious/nervous/excited for my trip to London! I'm a wee bit scared of airplanes but once I'm exploring the city I know I'll have a blast. I'm kind of a nervous nelly guys. 

• Watching: Fashion Police and E News. I just love seeing what celebs wear and staying in the loop with superstar shenanigans (teehee). I'm also watching anything I find on HGTV. I don't know what it is about HGTV, but it's just so calming to me and I like seeing all the pretty houses! I also saw the movie It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. It's an older movie with a great cast (including Mickey Rooney) and it is super funnies! :D 

• In Other News: Unfortunately my laptop is not cooperating with me, so I may be blogging from my phone for a while. Womp womp womp.

Howdy Y'all

Just stoppin' by to give you a little bloggie heads up 7up!

I'm sure you all know by now that blogging makes me OH so happy and if I could I would write up quickity split posts daily, but it dawned on me that once school starts again I won't have time to post as much. Don't fret! There may be fewer posts but you betcha bottom dollar they will be chalk full of the good stuff.

I've gotta admit, taking Insta breaks and bloggie breaks will be uber difficult but I'll give y'all a little heads up 7up before this happens so it's not shocking when I go M.I.A. for a week or so.

Since I'll be moving to Tampa come August, I'm going to be focusing on friends and family at the moment since I wont be seeing them as often as I would like. It kinda sorta just hit me that my day to day routine is about to make a HUGE change and I won't have my fave familiar faces by my side. When this realization hits, it hits HARD my friends. I'd be lying if I said I didn't freak out at first but I know the future is bright and life has a way of working things out for the better.

This gal is ready for new adventures!

Weekly "What's Up!"

• In less than a month, my blog has already gotten well over 1,000 views! I am jumping for joy friends. I am so thankful for each and every one of you! Blogging has become such a great creative outlet for me as well as a new place for me to meet my precious bloggie besties. It's also helped me become a better writer and make business connections. Blogging is an all around win m'dears. Do what makes your heart happy each and every day. :)

• I made the CUTEST new template for my blog on photoshop the other day, but for some reason I can't upload it on Blogger juuuuust quite yet. I'm experiencing a few technical difficulties but when I solve the mystery, A Sprinkle Of Steph will look 10x's more wonderful! Yippee!

• I started buying things for my dorm room. Eeep! In my spare time I find myself wandering into West Elm, Anthropologie, The Container Store, etc. and finding an abundance of adorable knick knacks and bedding goods that this gal just can't seem to pass up. I am just itching to decorate my dorm ASAP.

• Today I am finalizing my trip to LONDON this summer! Words can't describe how stoked I am for this vacay. This will be my first trip to the UK and so far we have a list chalk full of itinerary but if you have any recommendations of places you think I should visit please share! I want to see as much as I can within the short little week I'm there. :)

Every morning when I wake up bright and early at about 6:30 or so, the first thing I do (and I'm sure lots of you do this too) is check my phone for messages, notifications, emails, etc., but out of all these things my favorite thing to wake up to is a sweet little email from the crew at Story People. Every morning they send you an email with a different short story and illustration that really get you thinkin'. Each story is clever and totes adorbs.
